I have spent the last year trying to decide what to go for when the time came to purchase my first land rover; Defender or Discovery and then age, model, engine choice, etc. Anyway I have finally decided to go for a 110-country estate on the basis that I will be predominately green leaning in the UK and ultimately expeditions to Europe and further ahead in years to come I hope. As I live half a mile within the M25 I will have to go for a Td5, when ideally I would have gone for the 300 Tdi, as a result of the Low Emission Zone being extended next January.

So those of you that live within M25 who has a 200/300 Tdi what are you proposing to do about the issue with complying with the LEZ? I see it’s a £100 per day charge if you are non compliant! Just like peoples thoughts before I part with my cash.

Hmmm. Presume its cos of the number of seats a 110 has that pulls it into the LEZ?
