NEW: How to post photos

This forum's software has changed recently, so here's the new "Idiot's Guide" (especially useful for me) to posting photos:-


Click on the ‘reply’ box in the normal way

A blank ‘Post a reply’ box opens

Click on ‘Host an image’ (top line, 6th from the right)

Where it shows ‘px width’, click on arrow and select 640 px (for websites)

Click on green box ‘Select files’ – you may have to scroll right to see this box

Select photo/s from your collection

Your photo/ will appear below as a thumbnail image

Wait patiently while the software loads your photo/s! – waiting time of a single photo is acceptable; several photos will take a while so is frustrating!

Click blue box ‘Send all’

A green loading bar will appear – you may have to scroll down to see this bar

When complete, three lines of data will appear

Copy the middle line of data text – the one with the double balloon test symbol

Paste the middle of data text into your blank ‘Post a reply’ box

Type in whatever description about the photo

Click the ‘Preview’ box

Your photo and description will appear

Click ‘Send’ box
