So assuming you had broken down 10 miles from your house, he'd have to travel 6.5 hours / 400 miles from Staffordshire to Aberdeenshire, and would charge you £40 + £10 (£1 per mile) = £50

... not to mention the 6.5 hours / 400 miles back.
