| Nigel's spot on Ralph, and you're right of course, no problem at all. Strewth, it wouldn't be an overland meet without barbecues, firepits and the like. However, you won't recognise the transformation from Whilton Mill. It's grown somewhat, although it's kept the great atmosphere from the inaugural event. Welcome back ... and welcome to the forum!!! | |

| Talking of grub, here's the latest news I'm just posting out to the trade and campers:-
BREAKFASTS AT AO`14
From 7am – 11am Saturday and Sunday 27-28 September 2014, freshly cooked breakfasts will be available in the Camper's Café (located adjacent to the central toilet/shower block, opposite the beer tent)
Priced at just £4.50 breakfasts will consist of …
Egg, 2 bacon, 2 sausages, black pudding, hash brown, mushrooms, beans or toms.
Tea/coffee @ only £1.00 Crusty bread & butter (no tasteless cellophane-wrapped loaves) @ 50p a slice
NOTE: This will be akin to a ‘proper’ café as it will include tables, chairs, real plates and knives & forks – no plastic utensils here!
Please help us make this unique facility a success from Day One … thanks!!

| No problem, but is in the website ... honest! It's within the Tickets/Camping section:-
Dogs under control are more than welcome ... so bring leads and pooper scoopers!
Anything else, just ask.

| Tom, forgive me if I'm being blind and not finding it, but is there a full list of speakers, subjects and times for the seminars? | |

| Tom and co, not sure if you'll see this now but i will be making my way up straight after work on the Friday! Really looking forward to the show, especially since various life happening this year have meant that i've not been able to get away... The Mini has been treated to a new engine though and a loads of other bits which has been some small compensation! Will be seeing you on the Friday and looking forward to another great weekend, i'll see you all in the cider tent! Cheers, and apologies for being away from the forum for so long, regards Joe and Tim (The Mini)! " /> | |

| Have a truly awesome weekend everyone! We are sad that we can't be there to join in and meet up with all our friends. Sadly, life post-adventure has put us behind office desks again, and the annoyance of budgeting our leave ...
Have a fabulous time and we'll have a drink for you all!!
best wishes African GirlChild and Viking Explorer

| Was a great show. Truly massive...I would guess well over 150 vehicles in the camping area and probably as many in the traders area. Great weather and well run. Great job Tom! | |

| Hi well it was the first trip out for our latest set of wheels----I REALLY missed the 5.9 Cummins towing the trailer---2.8 Iveco is not quite the same-----but all in all I THINK we will say a sad farewell to the Dodge truck, it has been very good to us and taken us to many interesting places---we shall miss it A LOT. Pamala & I really enjoyed the show again this year and from the response from our mob with motorhome Fun/365 we think they are as keen as us to return again next year.--------We think a few more will come next year to see what they missed this year following 'interesting pics/comments' on our forums.------Well done Tom and your merry band of helpers. Nigel & Pamala | |

| 5.9 vs 2.8, really no contest. That said it's a totally different beast, mourn the passing of the Cummings and move on. The Display Vehicle section got split in the end, next year the new layout (yep, yet another one), will ensure it all stays in one place. Thanks again for your participation and assistance liasing with the MHF crew, as you say there are bound to be more next year. | |

| [quote="Tom Mc"]Hi folks. Back yesterday but only now have internet access.
Hiya Tom, we've just arrived back at our base camp 1 for the winter, had a bit of a wonder around on route from Santander to Almeria. Just a thanks for putting together AO14 and making it happen, we well enjoyed it and caught up with others we've met each year since Daventry, well done mate, think Bad Kiss will be our next trip north, we don't do cold fog and ice ha ha.
