Vehicle Photo Security Empty
PostSubject: Vehicle Photo Security   Vehicle Photo Security EmptyThu Sep 29, 2011 6:28 am

One of the ways To prevent you beloved car, van, 4x4 or other vehicle from having your registration plate visual information cloned is by blacking out your REGISTRATION plate when posting pictures.
This prevents you car REG being copied and produced on another car and also makes It hard for unsavoury characters to locate your vehicle by Insurance Address information.

If you are also sharing photo's of the engine bay be sure to cover up sensitive information on the manufacture plate located in the engine bay.

If you are also sharing photo's of the chassis, be sure to cover up sensitive information on the chassis plate or chassis stamp.

There are many programs out there that are simple to use to cover up sensitive information in photo's, one of the easiest to get a hold of and use is Microsoft Paint.
