That's a bit of a beast, where was that taken? My guess - South Africa.

That's an interesting design.

I've seen a similar one if a little more crude at Longleat Zoo in the uk. Used to shuttle around people who don't want to take their cars in the monkey zone....

It was taken here. In Namibia. Mercedes use this area to test their new cars driven by racing drivers

As was this one. There is a cafe there that sells the best apple pie in the world. Bottled water cost four quid a five litre bottle which the Germans bough a lot of. We just used the tap water to drink. Pullet eggs were 30Pence each.

They are bodied in Swapomund for Wilderness Safaris of Windhoek. Note they are 300Tdi. Where they managed to get the 300 from I don't understand BUT Wildernes want Land Rovers for their clients as they are more comfortable and spares are available. The registration number tells you it's Namibian and registered in Windhoek. This was one of two parked. I believe they bought three or five.

Note the very heavy, freezer van door hinges and locks

Like it. Once they get their customers on board, they can't escape until the tour is over. Either that or the local primate population are cleverer than the average monkey!
