| Hi all, This isn't an over lander per se (i'm still looking for the right one) but i think it's a pretty cool dual purpose vehicle. This is the mock up of my van/camper, which i plan on living in for 2 months. I hope to get most of the bed base made tomorrow but slightly unsure how to secure my new and very impressive Engle fridge. This is my work van and after the trip everything must come out, so it can go back to earning a living. My first thought was to strap it down to the vans tie down points but now I've mocked it up, i don't have enough and the ones i have are not in the right place. I then thought about using an Engle slide-lock as it could be screwed to the 10mm Wisadeck floor and only leave 4 holes when it was taken out. However i have spoken to Simon at MPS and he doesn't have any and doesn't think he will get any in. It would be good to see how everybody else has secured their fridges and anybody's idea's on how to hold this fridge in place. " /> | |

| Hi. I just use the ARB tie down kit and it works perfectly on my Engel 35. Cheap & cheerful and with just 4 screws (into the van plywood floor?) it can easily be removed as and when.

| hi there
i use the tie down kit supplied by mps that includes the hooks that screw to the fridge where the lift handles are, neat turn buckles and bolted some lashing eyes to the floor with reinforcing plates at the other side of the panel (inthe case of my defender two in the floor panel and two at the lower edge of the wheel box) when fridge not in the vehicle the lashing eye fold over and only stand proud above the floor by maybe 5mm at most so no problem unless you need to slide some thing very heavy in to your van alternatively you can get some recessed lashing eyes that will fit into the floor liner
