As it happens, Alex of Staffordshire 4x4 and his mate Jon entered my ickle 3,000 mile European Landy Rally event in 2009 as "Team Bright Sparks". Good guys, awesome machine!

Great pictures Tom, Alex's Ibex is currently being re-done, new oil tank, supercharger moved and BIG Jenvey throttle bodies and funky plenum all being re-done...should be done for summer with around 575bhp

Tug, I'm occasionally on arseface, but as a rule I stay off !
At Staffordshire 4x4 full time...kicked the bike trade in the head, though still ride bikes.

Anyway, we now know how to get hold of you.

good move...think you might be more at home tinkering with 4x4,....

Just wandered by and spotted the photo of Alex's Ibex along with the rest of my family. I remember the Ibex sounded great but didn't enjoy hill climbing (to be fair it was the Stelvio Pass it didn't like). They had to go home early and that photo was taken just as they left to head home.

2009 was a brilliant rally Tom, great group of people !

To be fair to Team Bright Sparks, due to the thin air at altitude my 3.9 V8 or Dean's 3.5 V8 weren't happy either. ECU's + thin air = a very sluggish V8. The only one that seemed to be okay was the Overfinch P38 with the Chevy 5.7 V8. Strange that?

Nice to see the ol' roadrunner make an appearance. Yep, I agree, 2009 was a vintage year Landy Rally-wise. Happy days!
