Profile Development

This forum has the option to edit and customise your own personal account profile. Its entirely up to you weather you do or don't choose to.

If you do want to customize your profile the menu to do so Is along the top of the web page. In-between "Groups" and "Private Message".

In "Edit your profile" you have a second menu bar just under the forums menu, this will send you to the Information page of your profile and account and the below options should be visible on screen.

Gender, Location, Job/Hobbies, Humor and comments. All fairly self explanatory.


In "Preferences" located in "Edit your profile", you can choose what personal settings and options YOU want your account to do.
EG: Notify me by e-mail if someone reports a post or Hide my online status.


Next in "Edit your profile" is "Signature". - After every post you make on this forum underneath what you have typed or posted will be your signature. Think of it as your tag.
EG: My signature says 2004, Hyundai Terracan, 2.9CRDI, Auto, Part Time 4wd, Rear LSD.


The next option in "Edit your profile" is "Avatar".
Basically put this is what your profile picture will be. This is what other users will see next to your name when you make a post.

The next few options in "Edit your profile" is not quite as necessary.

After "Avatar" is "Friends and Foes".
Like it says, you can add a forum members name to your list of friends or foe's. Its up to you, Mostly we are all friends here....


"Topics being watched", seen next to "Friends and foes".
You can chose to "Watch" certain topics in the forum or its the latest topics you have posted in. Its a easy way to keep track on events concerning your interested topic. Also if a topic is watched you can receive emails to your email account notifying you to a reply.


And Lastly in "Edit your profile" is "Favourites".
Like the title suggests, if you have a Favourites topic or subject you can add to Favourites for you to keep track!


It is not compulsory to edit your profile. If you wish to remain a mysterious stranger then that's fine. This is a Very friendly forum and a great open community. Tell us about yourself.
