I took two cameras a Sony DSC-W130 Super Steady Shot, which I managed to damage.
A Canon 20D with a variety of lenses. ALL my lenses are manual focus. I didn't miss many shots. The camera is kept on aperture priority and most shots are taken with the lens wide open
