Hello all

Alerted to this forum through landcruiserclub.net. Smile

I drive a '97 Toyota Land Cruiser Colorado (95 series) . We will be driving it from to South Africa in April this year. We will go the less common west coast route. We will likely spend 2 weeks or more in Morocco exploring a bit doing some pistes before heading down to Senegal. If anyone is in Morocco in Mid to late April give us a shout cheers1

Normally frequent the HUBB and some Land Cruiser specific forums. Good to have a 4x4 Overland specific forum thumbsup

Anyway we've pretty much finished all the preparing, just need to finish off a few paperwork related things and we should be good to go. Oh and spend more money on yet more things on the car Twisted Evil

Here are some pics of the vehicle!

Hiya ... an offcial welcome from yours truly! cheers1

Are you retaining the rear seats? I ask because on Landy Rally I will drop the rear 3/4 split seat of the Rangie and utilise the area. I still have the single seat intact just in case of collecting stray people en route (you never know???) but the extra area is very handy. Maybe it's not so relevant in a 'cruiser as they are BIG lumps, but I find that behind the driver's seat towards in the middle is an excellent place for storing a couple of weighty full diesel jerricans slap bang in the centre of the vehicle. Just a thought.

Hi

The rear seats on mine are a single bench so they are either folded down to create some good packing space or left up.

So far we dont have too much stuff so I'm hoping to keep the back seat up. Carrying locals can be useful for route-finding etc!

cheers1
