Kelmarsh Land Rover Show (new 'Billing')

Was at the 'Billing' Land Rover show on the weekend...which is now of course at Kelmarsh. Was a pretty good show although I only had a half day there on Saturday. Ran into Tom and had a quick catch up. Finding him wasn't hard since he was parked up in the orange Range Rover. Some good displays and cool trucks. My friend Patrick, who is the editor of LRM was there with his newly imported Defender he shipped back from South Africa a couple of weeks ago. Lots of interest in the factory 2.8 BMW engine. Yep, good to meet up James ... albeit 5 minutes!

Met Patrick and also his photographer wife Allison. She's lovely, and so he is of course!!!

She took shots of the Orangemobile (Range Rover camper) and yours truly, although reckon the latter spoiled the finished article. Also of Bedworth Berts 4x4 Club. Never know, may even make it into the mag.

Great hog roast Friday night at LRM stand, met a few interesting folk.

Well seems like we missed you James me and Dilys were on the Project Jay Preservation Group stand, 2 stands down from the Camel Land Rovers, we only had a walk around on the Friday but Dilys hert her hip and neck.

I hope Dilys is ok Kevin. I was only at the show for a couple of hours, so must have missed you. Will see you at AO17 hopefully

Yes Dilys is OK apart from the sore neck seen doctor, says she has pulled a muscle will take time to mend.
