Adventure Northside, North Germany: Sat 01 - Mon 03 Oct 2016

Held last October, the inaugural Adventure Northside event (the first ever overland/bushcraft show held in Germany) proved to be a great success, thus the dates for this year's edition have just been announced: Sat 01 - Mon 03 Oct 2016.

... and just in case you were wondering, the Monday is a Bank Holiday in Germany.

Thanks mate. A great start last year, so it's looking good. Also Kieran plus John & Terry (they helped out at AO`15), are already on board, which is a brilliant as the three of them were instrumental in making the Adventure Northside event as successful as it was.











And yes, John & Terry had a play in an all-electric Landcruiser. Another vehicle to add to their 'wish list'.

This may work in nicely on our return trip from Iceland may have to pop in for a gander.

Bearing in mind that following the Adventure Overland Show, we'll depart Stratford-upon Avon Racecourse at 08:00 Tues 27 Sept. bound for Dover, I have booked the following via www.ferrysavers.com:-

Tues 27 Sept. Dover-Dunkirk DFDS 12:15 - 14:45
(this allows for 1 night camping in Valkenburg, Holland)
Thurs 06 Oct. Calais-Dover P&O Ferries 13:25 - 13:55
(this allows for one night camping at my friend's house in Hardinxveld-Giessendam, Holland. He owns a bar/restaurant so a great night is guaranteed. Any number of us can pitch up at his place, we've done it before with 8 vehicles!

Cost of return ferries is £120, but that is for my RR camper at 4.5m long, 2.35 high + driver/.passenger Yours should be less. Everyone is welcome to join us to and/or back.
