Pajero Roofrack

Hi Guys, recently moved to the dark side and gone from a defender to a pajero!!?/

I need a roofrack that will take my rooftent, its a 94 swb with no gutters and factory fitted rails, now my understanding is that there are not any factory roofrails that will take weight of tent and 2 peeeps ?? i figure total weight to be about 300 to 350kg if i want to put jerry cans on etc

anyone know of someone that custom made one before? I have some ideas of what i need but would prefer to find someone that has done it before.

Don't know anyone these days making custom racks, but reckon Patriot are about the best/strongest alloy racks you can get. Not cheap but if it does the job ...

Then there is Maxus steel racks which are "Hot Dipped Galvanised Zinc finish coating". Don't know anything about this company, but if they specialise in racks for vans, surely they have to be pretty tough. Worth enquiring.
