| Subject: BASIC RULES FOR POSTING YOUR "TOP TEN PHOTOS" Mon Jan 03, 2011 11:02 am | |
| I realise it’s an impossible task, but as a direct result of some great photos posted by a forum member (Vixen) it has prompted me to launch this innovative section. I’m asking members to start a Topic entitled ……………… ‘s Top Ten Photos (i.e. “Vixen’s Top Ten Photos”) and list your Top Ten favourite photos you’ve taken. Sure you will have loads of shots taken before digital cameras, but let’s concentrate on the shots since digital photography was introduced. That’s not compulsory you understand, merely a guideline. It's your personal topic, so you list what you want! The only rules:- 1. Yes they full of memories and some of your all-time favourite shots, but they must relate to 4x4’s, overlanding, travel, etc. … not gory shots taken at the birth of your offspring!!! 2. They must contain a brief description. Although many shots can be brilliant on their own, by knowing why, what, when and how, they can be ten times more appealing to the viewer. 3. As it can be a mind-numbing task if you have 1,000’s of shots, then simply list a couple now, then using the EDIT button go back to your post in a week or so when you come across a couple more. There is no hurry, you will stumble across the good ’uns as and when. 4. IMPORTANT: When downloading photos via the host [serving.com], please click on the 640px width (for websites) size - not the larger 800px width (for forums) or 1024px width (wallpapers). Otherwise the photos downloaded are just TOO BIG!Okay, that’s it, go find your favourites and show us what you’ve got! | |
