Thought i would let people know about a tent that i think is brilliant!

This process takes around 15 seconds to erect and 2-3 mins to peg.

The tent is a 1 Man Fox Easy Dome tent. Its about as sturdy, waterproof and strong as you can get for sub £250. There are 2 models. Both are the same shape and design the only difference is they are made out of different materials. I chose the normal one, the heavy duty canvas is similar to the thick oily canvas. Like some trench coats seen in the fishing, shooting and equestrian scene. I once had the heavy canvas type tent but it acts like a green house containing heat. Great unless its +15 degrees. Then the H/D Canvas gets to hot. So I took the Normal Model.

All pars are self contained. Carbon fibre and glass fibre. Joints can snap in to place as pictured. 100% fool proof. Sturdy construction, fully waterproof. If you do miss-place or damage parts then they can be easily obtained.

Interior Tent chamber permanently attached to the Tent exterior, same as the ground sheet. Fully water proof.

Roof vents for ventilation with 2x cover sheets provided. 25x 9mm Steel pegs 250mm long.

For me there is plenty of room for sleeping, storage and ease of access. I use a fishing design cot. Similar design to the old army cots. The reason is that you stay an awful lot warmer if off the ground. Something I found when fishing in France -10 degrees. With a cot/bed, sleeping off the ground you can also store clothes, food and necessity's under the cot. Allowing much more space.

The outer section of the tent is large enough to keep bbq, gas, shoes and anything else too big to fit inside. With the door zipping down to keep everything dry.

I have used a blow up double bed mattress in the summer months which fits in snug if 2 sleeping bags are used.

Small in design it stands up to wind and rain very well. I once fished for 4 day & nights in constant down pour and the tent interior was completely dry, unlike some cheaper brands.

Available in green, brown, light camo & heavy camo. 1-6 Man Bivys.

RRP £199, I paid £149.99p 3 years ago @ Birmingham NEC Arena Fishing & Camping Show.

The camp bed is made by JRC Fishing Gear, and the chair is made by wychwood.

Wychwood chair: www.chapmansangling.co.uk/wychwood-extremis-chair-~2817.html

There are cheaper version and more expensive bed cots. Basically anything over £30 is good quality. The more expensive ones have more padding, adjust-ability, feet options and bottom rubber matt - something quite useful if you sleep with your welly's or boots on especially if they are muddy or wet, which is common in the fishing scene.

Chairs are the same, again over £30 and its high quality and again the higher the price the more options. Cup holders, foot rests, mp3/mobile holders, arm rests, full tilt, you name it they have designed it.

It is good stuff, I love it. If your looking at buying this tent now its retailing @ £300! It is a good tent, and the current model has had some design updates and has the option of tiger or woodland camo. Still for the money its a cracker. Glad I bought mine when It first came out!

Also Look out for Wychwood, Nash and JRC, good solid brands, with a wide variety of choices and prices.
