Not sure if this is the right section for this question, if not please feel free to move on ....

Do you 'need' a 4x4 to visit Morocco and get to the 'must see' bits, or could you do most of it in a standard car (or in my case a Kia Sportage)? I have the camping kit so assume I could camp in the normal places that anyone else could get to, but maybe I couldn't get deep in to the dunes/desert?

I see that campervans go to Morroco all the time hence wondering what level of car you can get away with.
