 Ice Warning Empty
PostSubject: Ice Warning    Ice Warning EmptyTue Jan 22, 2013 7:36 am

A government warning said that anyone travelling in icy conditions should take a shovel, blankets or sleeping bag, extra clothing including a scarf hat and gloves.

Also a 24 hour supply of food and drink, a de-icer , rock salt, torch & spare batteries. In addition they should take a Safety triangle, tow rope , petrol can, first
aid kit & jump leads...

I felt a right prat on the bus this morning!

I felt a right pratt when filling up my petrol can and the woman in the kiosk shouted on the forecourt tannoy "your's is a diesel".

It got worse when I saw first aid kit and jump leads and thought it was a defribrilator.

As for a 24 hour supply of food for me, sorry I am strong, but not that strong.

In the end I surrendered and thought what do the Government know anyway.
