Pathfinder Mk1-2 Part Time 4wd, 2Hi, 4Hi, 4Low, rear Limited Slip differential.
Pathfinder 05 onwards - Selected vehicles, All Mode selectable all wheel drive system - normally rear wheel drive, in AUTO mode front axle engages when rear wheels start to slip, power is variably distributed from 0:100 to 50:50 front to rear. In AUTO mode the system works as an automatic all wheel drive system. In 2WD mode, the clutch is unlocked permanently. In 4H mode the tranfer clutch is permanently locked - power distribution 50:50.
Part Time 4wd, 2Hi, 4Hi, 4Low. 50/50 split front/rear. Rear Limited Slip Differential standard.
Patrol 160, GR Y60 -1998, Y61 +1998 - Part-time 4 wheel drive. 2Hi, 4Hi, 4Low, 50/50 split front/rear LSD rear - standard, Locking differential - optional. 2,02:1 low gear, Push button disconnecting Rear anti-roll bar for greater articulation (only on Y61 5th generation onwards).
Patrol GR Y62 2010+ - A seven-speed automatic. A variable 4×4 mode package allows switching between four drive modes: sand, on-road, rock and snow, with the flick of a switch. And a "Hydraulic Body Motion Control System" system is available. Also available are an electronic-locking rear differential, hill start and hill descent control, as well as lane-departure warning, automatic braking and stability control.
Navara D21, D22, D40 - Part Time 4wd, 2Hi, 4Hi, 4Low. 50/50 split front/rear. Rear Limited Slip Differential standard. Rear Locking Differential optional on selected models & imports.
