Hi
My name is Will, from SW UK. Driving & fixing a 110 200tdi van.

I was fortuitously introduced to the forum by Tenbo, Sliverfox, Sasha & Wideformat etc after bumping in to them in Morocco:

First encounter was as I managed to get across the border at Ceuta!
The Initial greetings were fairly rushed and went along the lines of
-Hi How d'you do? Have you got any paint??
-eer Hello yes I may have some black hammerite, why?
-They are not letting Tenbo through the border with his Nato green paint job!
-Ahh
We decided that the small tin of black would only make it look more camo style, Besides I think James liked the idea of a pink paint job!

Wink

Off I trundled, couple of days later, there they all are relaxing at a peaceful campsite in Chefchouen!
Got Johns thrust bearing fixed and was very generously invited to tag along; so off we headed off down towards the desert for a week or so.

I have loads of pics on a website however am unable to post external links until I have been a member for a week, so I'll post them in the NE Morocco wash up post in good time.

Looks like an informative forum, I look forward to getting involved!

Hello Will - welcome!  cheers

I was the one who initially was to be with them, only because of work I had to pull out early on. Next time hopefully, especially as that part of Morocco seemed to be far more interesting than the usual tourist trail.

Far from the madding crowd you could say, even if one of your number did go a bit crazy in the heat ... he was after all driving something that wouldn't look out of place in an advert for Sheila's Wheels!

Spot the difference:-
