Morocco 15/12/12 to 13/01/13

We're going to be at the show now! Interesting story (which can be shared over a beer) but our trip has been delayed a month.

That also means we may have more similar timings to you for going into Morocco! Let's chat at the show

Oh dear, I feel a pre-Africa 'calm before the storm' party coming on.

I bought one of those electronic cab heater things (Webasto) with the intention of knocking up some kind of central heating that could be plugged / unplugged from the engine cooling system via a heat exchanger and appropriate plumbing (haven't started it though and a bit time poor at the mo.).

That, a 4 season sleeping bag and a big duvet were pretty much where I was going, but I love the idea of the electric blankets, such a simple solution and I have a split charger and decent invertor :-).

As for the show and timings, sounds great and would definitely be great to meet up. Sounds like a party at the show and another at Tuggy's before the crossing ;-)

Girlchild, re your question about space behind the roof tent, there's about 4 ft, but half of that is taken up with the jerry can holders built in to the roof rack, so about 2ft useable, enough to stand on and get in and out of the tent relatively easily (in my opinion) :-)

great show Tom, sorry I didn't bump in to any of you, but I was there honest, with the rest of the FWDC club and did manage to part with some cash too.

Chris Scott's talk on sunday was very good and I managed to catch him for about 15 minutes before he gave it for a bit of a chat about my proposed routes too, which was really helpful.

If you guys are still up for meeting wilst I am on this trip, pm me some contact details so we can sort out some dates / places / rounds of drinks !! :-)
