| Yep, it's a 2-day show this year. British Indoor 4x4 ShowStaffordshire County Showground, Weston Road, Stafford, Staffordshire ST18 0BD I will have a pitch there promoting Pyrenees 4x4 Tours, ADVENTURE OVERLAND SHOW and of course 4x4 Overland Travel forum (don't bother clicking on this one, you'll only end up back here and potentially do yourself a mischief in cyberspace!)Also to have a trade stand there is Martin of Vampire 4x4 Tours who is now a regular on the forum here. I feel a party coming on. + = ... and the following morning ... Obviously come and say hello if you're there - anyone else planning on going BTW? | |

| There usually are some Landy Rally folk knocking about, but this show is a bit unusual. At every outdoor event there is always a cold beer or a hot cuppa for anyone who wants one on my stand, and most others with us as well such as Yoda's great soup, but at Stafford there's nothing. Being indoors there's no caravan, so therefore no fridge or tea/coffee-making facilites, so whereas our stand is normally like a magnet, at Stafford people tend to come up to say hello, and in no time at all they've vanished never to be seen again until the first 'real' shows get going.
Also up until now, the indoor show has always been a one-day affair on the Sunday, this year it's over two days. Just how it will effect the event is anybody's guess? I really can't see how it justifies two days personally, but I'll try to keep an open mind on that one. Time will tell.

| Fair enough! Camping to me is about still, balmy nights - not dank 'n' dreary, chilled-to-the-bone type evenings. Still nippy at night this time of year, that's why I shall be taking the caravan ... cosy!!! | |

| Definitely not ready, stand B119 not built (priority for tomorrow), beer bought, clothing sorted (bought a pair of boot laces today). ... and Margaret, don't expect leccy on my stand. They wanted £55 for the privilege so it's gone in the tank instead. See you there folks, got the caravan so hot tea/coffee and cold beer. | |

| Not huge at all as it's all indoors ... and the NEC it ain't. Very dooable mate, plus I'll have a chair ready and waiting when you're ready to plonk!
If it's the same as last year, the car park isn't very far at all. Again, it's not like some other shows which are big and sprawling, so even though the venue is Staffordshire County Showground, they will obviously utilise the nearest car parks to the main entrance first of all.
Besides, being a two-day format this year, my feeling is that the overall attendance will more or less be the same as last year, only now spread thinly over two days. Perhaps a few more will be able to make it whereas last year they couldn't, but not so you would notice. I will reserve my opinion until next week, but I'm not over optimistic. Time will tell.

Did you only visit on Sunday as well ? I know you where there on the Sunday cos I sat talking to Sheila for awhile. Is she going again this time ? If so we can have a natter and I'll try not to lose her email address this time !

| I was there for the two days, but somehow completely forgot about it ... obviously going senile! Will be there early tomorrow morning. Was going tonight, but as per usual packing and loading took ten times longer than planned, so an early start beckons. Doubtless see you at some point, yes Sheila will be there so by all means drag her off for a natter and a cuppa (you tea, her hot water!!! ) | |
