Oldest Daily Driver

My current daily driver is a 1963 Series 2a SWB Land Rover

So, whats the age of your daily? Do I have the oldest? :-)

It's not my daily driver but used often. It's VOR at the moment but its a 1977.

2004....

1995 is the oldest car in my stable not used every day but about 50% of the time

Mines my 1993 200tdi discovery

Another 93 200tdi Discovery here and wouldn't have any other.

I've got a 64 S2 LR......I don't drive it every day but then I don't drive everyday anyway I have a chauffeur

Up until last year our oldest was a 53 S1 But then we had 5 LR's, so had to cull the fleet back a bit.....now back to 3

Your Series' make my '73 Rangie look positively young.

Son drives 1968 series 2a as daily driver at college including Devon to west of Scotland at beginning and end of each term! Sound proofing consists of a set of ear defenders

Used to own a IIA Lightweight - great vehicle. I'd dig out some photos only they have to be scanned first, really must get my scanner working.

So I must be the forum idiot then. One of the few who has to scrape off ice from both inside and outside the car the last few days

Not just you I got to scrape the ice off inside and out of the Frontera before driving it tonight

Nope, still on original engine, gearbox, transfer box and axles. Bulkhead solid too. It was a one owner from new before I bought it and had only been used as a car and for pulling a tiny caravan. I did rechassis it but mechanically it's mint.

Fair play, 'cause that's a lot of miles under the belt. Then again it's easily explaind, 1966 was a VERY good year!
