Hello the maadmaan - welcome! cheers

Like the "Aldersh*t" bit, although there are worse places in the world to live. Then again, perhaps you were right the first time. Smile

Join the club as most of us only do short trips, but we can dream.

Seen just about everything now! Not much axle travel, but then again it's so light I don't suppose it doesn't need much. And you're dead right, it does get about. thumbsup

Snorkel as well I see, I bet Daihatsu don't sell those as an Optional Extra! Imagine the showroom when someone is buying a new motor -
"Would Madam like ... the metalic paint? ... the alloy wheels? ... the raised air intake and reinforced recovery points? laughing pound

Seriously nice motor! The snorkel looks good on the terois, and it looks like it performs well off road!

Tom, you may laugh but in South Africa and Russia that IS how they sell them! Complete with LSD, TopR 7CM suspension lift, heavy duty seat fabrics, spotlights and skid plates and snorkel from Giz International, which is where I got my bash plates. They also sell it with a straight through exhaust and an extra 32 BHP....shame you can't get that one over here mad

Blimey! I've seen the original Terios kitted out for action in Malaysia, but never the newer model. With Daihatsu mechanicals it can't be that bad, but better than that, you reckon it's good. Wouldn't dispute otherwise. Providing the drive train holds up, then it has to be a contender.

Thinking of small vehicles, I wonder how the new Panda 4x4 stacks up against the old Sisley model which was really agile?
