| ” Vampire 4x4 Tours” is an annual event which takes place in the beautiful landscapes of Transylvania. It is open to everyone whether it be first time families with children to seasoned individual travellers. Tours have been running for 7 years, so a wealth of experience is ever-present. In recent years the event was organised under the name of Transylvania 4x4 Trips and Vampire 4x4 Tours, but to avoid confusion they will in future be always known as ” Vampire4x4Tours”. Why? The reason is simple. Along with the name, the nature and characteristics of the event have also changed. No longer will it be solely ‘extreme rally’ as in the past. Vampire 4x4 Tours are now trips for anyone, without the fear of destroying their car; challenging but not damaging you could say. There is still scope however for those with more modified vehicles to have fun, as you will now have the choice en route – either Family ‘Non-Damaging’ or Extreme, your call. | Hi Martin, welcome to the funny farm!  You're going have to learn how to post photos on here, as this will be the next thing people will ask for. It's very easy actually (once you know) you will find how to right at the top of all the sections - How to register, post photos, rules & regs, do’s & don’ts, etc. Have fun mate! Yoda - at one stage a couple of years aago I was thinking of running a Landy Rally 'East Europe Version' in conjunction with Martin, but there seemed little point as he already had his 'Vampire Tours' up and running. If you were considering joining his tour, I can vouch for him; good bloke! You may even have met him as he's visited us when we've all been on the Landy Rally stand at Billing, etc. I'll also try and dig out a photo. | |
