I have received a few PM's from Members about the Automated Topic Noticication sent to members email accounts once a topic they started or commented on has recieved a reply.

To STOP this, click on "edit your profile" on the site menu and then click on "Preferences" in the sub menu located above the GREEN header.

Scroll down the page and on the 5th option down there is: Always notify me of replies :
Sends an e-mail when someone replies to a topic you have posted in. This can be changed whenever you post.
On the right hand side of this there are two options. Select NO, once you have chosen your option scroll further down the page to the light green footer and click on SAVE.

Any new topic that you now create, will now no longer send out an Automated Topic Reply Notification when another member reply's to your topic.

In rare cases - This does NOT stop the Automated Topic Reply Notification from sending members a reply on Topics already created.

To STOP the Automated Topic Reply Notification on any previous Topics find your "watched topic", and on your topic question or 1st post, click on EDIT, scroll down on the edit page To the GREEN Header labelled as OPTIONS. If there are no options displayed, look at the right hand side of the green option header and there should be a "+" icon. Click on the "+" Icon and you should see the topic option of "Notify me when a reply is posted", make sure there is NO tick in this box.

If you have done as listed above you should no longer recieve an Automated Topic Reply Notification on any posts from www.4x4overlandtravel.com
