my new 90,,,

just bought a 93 200tdi 90 hard top very straight but needs some tlc so this is the next edition to the fleet,,,,

going to put a rag top on,lift kit so i can get the 33" wheels under and a snorkel,,,and thats it,,,use it and abuse it,,,,,,

Blimey, nothing like a bit of variety. At least you'll now have a convertible to soak up that Iberian current bun. Nice one!

Even better, when i jet off down to see you one day, I will now have a motor to drive as you'll have the 101 or the Disco. Good thinking Batman ... tee hee hee.

That's a proper land rover..... Not a £20,000 buy all mods then leave in the garage till the end of time. Congrats & have fun.

bad boy disco has been sold, ,,,fronty has been sold it goes monday,,,, ,,

but the good news is,,,,,,the 101 is now ready for the mot so wed morning its booked in,,,,so hopefully i should be running about in the 101 next week,,, ,,,
90 is in the workshop waiting for a new galvo chassis so that will be the next big job,,,,always plenty to do,,,, ,

ok finaly got a break over christmas and pulled the 90 in its all stripped and i picked up a chassis last week so i have to order some parts from UK but maybe 4-5 weeks it should be on the road,, , sold the hard top and got a nice rag top with military roll bar thrown in, ,,oh and a set of high ratio gears for the transfer box,,,,,,

ok just a few pics will post more this week,,,,

ok chassis all done now i found a very good chassis that somebody had cut up,,,so i have made good chassis with a new cross member,,,its like new so just painted it today and all my new springs turrets ect came today,,,so start rebuilding it tomorrow,,,,,,

Tell me, is it possible to incorporate a drop-down windscreen into the design? That would be pretty neat given you don't have a lot of driving rain over there, so with the top down most of the time it would be ace when driving tracks, a real 'open' feeling.

ok after about 6 months inbetween work i have managed to finish the 90" well nearly.im waiting for a new screen rubber so i can fit the new screen as i broke the one i had ,,,, ,,,,but finished the paint this week and fitted the new tires and wheels,,,so just got to fit the soft top,and were ready to roll,,,,,,,,,next project is the 101 rear camper body,,,,,,,

gib maroc is poopie and all the rest are shite,,,,,this is the best,,,,,,and its good to see you here,,,,,like your roll cage,,,,a must in a softop,,i only have the military hoop but will still save you in a light roll,,,,,,

Yeah, I agree with the Maroc site... bit naff! but hey, at least it's still (kind of) there.

A lot of the other sites are rubbish too. This one is down to earth, as is D2 and LRScene and the HUBB.

you know the trick with using some cord around the rubber? and 2 pairs of hands helps too.
