| Hi all, We intend to set off from the UK at the end of March 2012, the route we wish to take is as follows;
Europe, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Russia, Mongolia, China, Laos, Thailand, Singapore then ship to Australia.
Due to the high costs of travelling through China in your own vehicle (as a guide is needed from entry to exit) we are looking for like minded people also in there own vehicle to share the cost of the guide so costs are kept as low as possible for all concerned for this part of the trip. The cost of transiting through China is running at around £3,500 per vehicle although am waiting for more quotes to come through, so to be able to half this cost would be good. It is difficult at this time to put a time scale on when we would be entering China, but we forsee it to be in the region of October/Novemberish so as to give you a guide line.

| Sounds like a great adventure Jacbob, one I'd love to embark on one day. Too soon for me I'm afraid, one day hopefully. | |

| We are leaving in mid March 2012 for similar trip, but via South Korea and Japan. Our main focus is Russia and Central Asia...I can speak language and have friends in Russia, so we will have local guides all over Russia. Maybe we can meet on the road | |

| Hello Jacbob. I know there has been no movement on this thread for 5 months or so, but if you are still around, I am planning on heading through China (from Kyrgystan through to Laos via Tibet) around September (ish) 2012. So far there are 6 of us on motorbikes; if our times/routes coincide, maybe we can work something out. Cheers. | |

| Hi Wuming - I would imagine a notification will pop up in Jacbob's email box to say there has been a post within the thread he started, but just in case as he hasn't been around for a while I would copy and paste your message direct to him via a PM. That way it will definitely get to him.
Good luck, sounds like an epic journey!!!
