| Hi, our Delica will be ready next week and back in UK. We go camping every weekend but I would like to test car during our holiday/ 27.8-11.9/.
We are thinking about Lake District, Peak District , Northumberland or mid Wales. What we want is to test if everything works fine/ split charge system, hot water.../ and also find out the best place for each thing in the car. We will sleep in our car, so we do not need camp sites.
Where you would go and why? If anyone want to join us it will be great.

| Scotland is a great place to visit, mountains loches and coast, follow the castle trail or the whiskey trail, instead of the driver having a dram you could collect a miniture bottle and start a collection, no green lanes as sutch but thier is no law of tresspass in Scotland but if you ask permission and follow the country code, most will say yes, again you my wild camp again get permission and leave no trace of being thier. more green lanes in Wales sure someone will give more information about Wales. and the Dales Peak districk also Yorkshire in fact thier are so many places to go and see, take a 2-3 year tour of our fine country. That will test your motor, then you can do the rest of the world | |

| Wales I'd say. Scottishland is great, but that there Wales has plenty of off-road driving to offer, plus, importantly in these days of high fuel prices, it's also a hellava lot nearer to Brighton. There is the Gap Road south of Brecon - www.youtube.com/watch?v=cy8DTSL1u-kThen there is a lane (a roman road apparently) which starts near Coelbren - www.youtube.com/watch?v=3vFI6aCbHLAPlus LOADS more. My advice would be to contact GLASS (Greenlane Association) whose local reps will know which lanes are driveable at the time you are going - www.glass-uk.org - that way you'll be 100% legal and won't bother the locals. | |

| Peak District for me, plenty of off road routes of easy to very severe, and plenty of other off roaders willing to help if you overdo it, and get stuck.
Up there last Sunday, and met many other off roaders having a good time, despite the rain and generally poor conditions.

| We are in Lake District from 27.8.- 10.9.2011 so if anyone fancy to meet, let me know. We will be wild camping every day in different place, so we are flexible | |

| Hi would be great to meet up at some point. Will be taking part on an adventure run in the tweed valley on the 28th August starting at Selkirk about 90 mins drive from the Lakes depending where you are based. To find more info about the event go to www.farxfour.com and look up adventures, it should be a good day out and there is the advantage of being supported for the full day, so in the unlikely circumstance, that you get stuck there is full support present. Also more than happy to spend a day laning in the lakes if you prefer. ATB Del | |

Hi, it sounds like a great adventure, but I am worried that it will be to big challenge for us. I would prefer if we can drive some easy lanes. I can not afford damage the car, budget is tight and we are still saving hard for our trip. We can meet anywhere, it is up to you. Kamil

| Cornwall - love it down there. Great scenery, interesting roads, lots of camp sites (including some simple field and loo type ones). One of the best campsites I have seen (near St Just if I remember correctly) is a free campsite. Yes, completely free. It is just a field with a toilet really. The catch? It's £1 a go to use the toilet. Brilliant! | |
