| I spied that too. My immediate thought was, "that's well OTT", then I realised they probably need it to protect themselves from lions, hyenas, etc. Hope somebody remembered to close the 'toddler gate' at the base of that spiral staircase!!! | |

| Actually, just seems a waste of a good 110 as that contraption is bolted to the vehicle. Obviously supposed to look cool for safari tourists but a shame for the truck that will rot away beneath it. | |

| If you look closely at the bottom of the uprights you can see there are pieces that can be lifted up, so it can be driven around. may be a bit top heavy, | |

Know what you mean, but for the amount of money that woman is paying, it's all part of the game. A viewing platform attached to an iconic vehicle, pith helmets as standard, a lodge with a straw roof (doubtless covering the tiles), a local tribe that just 'happen to be passing' dancing outside her veranda at dusk ... it's what African Safaris are all about.
