First leg - UK to Thailand

Well its been a while since we posted and quite a few things have changed - mostly the route, and more times than I care to remember! Originally we were going to drive form the UK to Vladivostok and then ship to the US, however after deciding we didn't want to be in the states in the winter we are now heading off to Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakstan, Russia Mongolia, China, Laos and end the first part of our journey with a rest in Thailand for a couple of mths. We then want to ship from Bangkok to the US. We set off on 19th April in our almost ready VW Syncro and will keep you updated with our trip - blog is almost ready to go just a few finishing touches then we will post address. Any advice from anyone who has done a trip like this or even part of the trip would be gratefully received, especially any shipping agents in Bangkok

Yep we are going through with a group of 3 other vehicles and a guide.
