| En route to the Allrad Show near Frankfurt, the intention is to visit the Airborne Museum Hartenstein in Oosterbeek (Arnhem) Holland, then the Tank Museum in Munster, Germany.
Has anybody ever visited either of these two museums?

| I went to the Airborne museum a few years ago (must be getting on for 20 years now) and found it to be a most excellent museum. Louis | |

Well worth the visit. Shame I never saw your post Rolin before I left home. Reason was that after visiting the Airbourne Museum in Arnhem (yep, we found it good too), we arrived in Munster late afternoon with the intention of visiting the tank museum the following morning. On the way into town I spied a Police Station, so promptly dived in to ask for the nearest campsite. A really helpful cop even phoned the local camping to make certain they had room for us, which they did, but he looked rather bemused when I said we were there to visit the town's tank museum. Anyway, next day I found out why. It seems that when Mark went routing though all the local/regional info for tourist attractions, no leaflet on the tank museum could be found. Upon asking the staff informed him that we were in the wrong Munster, the one we wanted was 300 km away ... opps!!! Totally my fault, all I did was type 'Munster' into the TwatNav instead of the museum's postcode. What a numpty! Never mind, as they say - "there's always next year".
