| On a trip south next year I was looking at a little off roading near the friends place in south Normandy then driving south through the Midi Pyrannies stopping of at the area around the Parc National des Cevennes before heading further south to Andorra and the Spanish Pyrannies before returning home along the west coast of France.
I've scoured the Internet for stuff to do in the Cevennes National Parc and found plenty of stuff relating to mountain biking, horse riding and walking. It's a beautiful area wild and untouched and I'm looking to do some tracks etc in the area.
Can anybody point me in the right direction of points of interest and any laws or rules for driving a 4x4 in this region of France, I've looked at IGN maps but not sure which map to go for (most interesting) area etc.
Any help would be much appreciated. | |

| Personally don't know a lot about the region, other than it's obviously yet another beautiful part of France. They really are so lucky to have places like that on their doorstep. Sounds like a nice little trip in the making. | |

| In the mountains around the coast near St Tropez there is no vehicular access on the mountain tracks during the summer due to the fire risk. So I was told by a pompier! | |

Not sure I'm going that close to the coast there and the trip will be May, June or September | |
