Our Story
We are two Belgians and bought the van eight months ago in Suriname and drove it all the way to Ushuaia, right now we are driving it north and plan to sell it around may 2014 in Paraguay, Bolivia, Uruguay or Argentina at the end of our trip. In case of serieus interested buyers we are flexible to the place of selling.
It’s a small 4WD which will bring you to places difficult or even impossible to reach without your own vehicle or a campervan, also easy driving and parking in bigger cities. No need to pay for hostels (only fuel..), no need to look and pay for taxies, busses, trains.
There are also disadvantages.. As it is not a mobilhome don’t expect much luxury, most of the time you will be outdoors. Max capacity 2 persons, there are small traces of a small accident in the front left (see pictures) and the van uses a little bit oil.
We installed a fixed bed and put all the stuff in boxes underneath. We are cooking at two drawers at the back. You will have all the comfort a traveler needs.. Its easy travelling, just get in and drive, visit things, when tired crawl in the back..

-two batteries (6 months)
-pioneer radio with cd and MP3
-fuel can 20 liters for long roads
-fresh water reservoir 10 liters
-steering lock
-box for cooking with 2 portable gascookers and pots/pans/plates/cutlery..
-toolbox with booster cables, small goodyear airpump to inflate the tyres after beach or difficult road, some spanners, rachet set, crowbar, hammer, screwdrivers, chisels, vicegrip, some other basic tools
-sheets, mattress, a thick and a thin blanket, pillows
-4 good tyres and a decent spare (we just bought four new AT tires which will still be in good condition at the time we sell the van)
-Some other small stuff, the complete basics for travelling..

Never raced or rallied eh? Have to say it's an awful lot of money for a Delica that has done 182,000 km / 113,000 miles. Sorry Rob, but RHD Mitsubishi Delicas in the UK can be bought for half of what you want for it - and they have only ever tackled the speed humps in the local supermarket!

Never mind about the Delica, I enjoyed the video travelling though South America and the soundtrack. I was there!!!  

Good thing you enjoyed our video. No offence, but i dont think you were here. We are not in the UK here! Check the price of the Delica 4 posts below..they ask almost double money for a pajero/Montero(which is basicly the same 4wd) in Argentina. Maybe you can start importing ;.)

Yes, a BIG difference between the continents! Maybe import tax is the difference?
