| Hello, at the indian restuarant in mansfield where i eat more from than asda after his shift me and the boss sat up stairs with a few drinks and randomly he proposed a plan for 5 years time, drive two vehicles from mansfield to bangladesh, there are a few issues with this, - the route - the vehicle choice i am interested to see what vehicles and routes people would both suggest and take, my ideal vehicle would be this.... cheers kieran | |

| Travelling overland via the Darien Gap are you Kieran? One thing's for sure, you had better start thinking diesel again 'cause I don't think you're gonna find too many LPG pumps for that thirsty V8 petrol you have nearing completeion for the road! You'll also have to come up with a decent title, as all great treks start with a memorable name - "Mansfield-Maradipur-Meander" ? Nah, a poor effort, sure you can come up with something better. Any ideas peeps? | |

| if it has to be a diesel it won't be a rangie its wrong!! a funky name, thats true, maybe.... from home of curry to beyond... im no good with names nither maybe not the darien gap, but im thinking as there are no roads from here to there and carpets are better than most sand ladders then bridging ladders would see you covered for all situations, about carpets... not quite but have a look at these... Wild Mattsthey orginate from france i beleive, they call them wild mats, they were featured in LRO, being flexable they are easy to store this range rover ( from impala adventures website ) would be good too... sorry about the size and this one cheers kieran | |

| Has everyone gone nuts? Giant photos to sentences that amount to one solitary apostrophe! BTW, a photo of Impala's Sahara Dust RR appeared in LRO once alongside my article for a trip to Morocco. Had to contact the Editor who had to print an amendment the following month. Fascinating eh? Yawn! Well I thought it was interesting. | |
