| For sale: Iridium Satelite Phone - 9505A Still in very good condition. Comes with instruction manual, mains charger, 12V charger, and two pouches (one for the phone, one for the chargers). We can give you details of who we used to purchase a pay-as-you-go SIM. Only £300.

| Been thinking about one - especially since the talk at ao13
Cost of airtime is a pain though - Dont mind the cost of the calls etc but they are very sneaky on making the airtime time limited

| Super, glad you got sorted.
We bought our airtime from a company in the states - USD300 for 300 Africa minutes. I just did a quick search on Google and it seems there are several companies that sell pre-paid airtime for Iridium.
Let me know if you need the name of our supplier - I'll have to dig a bit.

| OK, I dug through the emails ..
We got out prepaid airtime from SatellitePhoneStore.com They were pretty efficient in communications and ordering.
