| If it was for a Land Rover/Range Rover I'd suggest a big hammer, but as its a Jap motor I really have no idea. Time for my tablets already nurse? | |

| Rich
Strip off the freewheeling hub outer and pull it off the splines, remove the dished plate fitted to the nut and its gubbins, most are Torx but not all, if it is the split type nut with captivating stud then undo this tiny stud, if it is the washer plate type then knock the tab back; tighten the nut reasonably tight and spin the wheel slightly, undo it just a tad and spin the wheel again, and keep undoing until there's no play or binding of the bearing. You leave the wheel on to do it. | |

| Thanks Assasin, the bearing setup was not as per your description but you gave me confidence to go in and do it and I found a circlip that removed all the freewheeling hub interior then 3 screws to be undone to get to the 'nut' (ie. not nut shapped but it did the job)
So only to do brake pipes, lower steering joint , new exhaust box and adjust the lights.Just got to wait for the parts to arrive now from milners
No hammers required !
