PostSubject: South America - by Land Rover   South America - by Land Rover EmptyFri Feb 15, 2013 1:28 am

Hi All

I am planning to put the truck on a ship at the end of March 2013 to Buenos Aires and wander round South America in a clockwise direction for 4 months, maybe more.

Anyone able to take the time off and come along too, or better still bring your truck.

Enquire within !

I WISH!!! Crying or Very sad

Short notice, but you never know until you ask. Any chance of you posting the odd report or two whilst over there? For some reason, trips in South America are few and far between on this forum, so any feedback would be most welcome.

"yes it is rather last minute but it avoids me having to get a new job" - good answer!

You're a star, look forward to it. You'll find this forum's software won't allow you to post photos immediately (5 posts I think???) but when it does we can find out what vehicle you've got, intended route, which countries, etc.

An official welcome to the nut house BTW!!! cheers

Hey Sibbers, will be interested to hear how the trip goes. At some point in the future I plan on doing Alaska to Terra del Fuego...with a bit of a naval detour around the Darian Gap. So if you get over to the west coast will be interested to hear how it goes. Bon voyage!

What? Man up! You scared of a few leeches? The Darian Gap's been put there as a direct challenge to us, I really feel you should at least have a bash at it. All you need are a couple of Range Rover Classics, a team of fit and competent military personnel and a rather large budget and you've cracked it.

Have a go, we’ll be right behind you – well, in spirit at least. Succeed and they'll be talking about it for years to come. Go for it! Wink
