Is anybody going to the Outdoor Show end of Jan

As the post says is anybody going to the show, just thought it may be an opportunity for a meet up

Just noticed the dates 17th to 20th I thought it was a week later

Hi, are you talking about the show in Olympia on the 26-27 January? If so I'll be there on the Saturday.

He's talking about the indoor Outdoors Show (ironic eh?) at ExCel, London - www.theoutdoorsshow.co.uk

According to the event website ...

The 2013 Outdoors Show takes place 17 – 20 January at ExCeL, London alongside The Active Travel Show, The London Bike Show and the Tullett Prebon London Boat Show. With one ticket giving you access in to all four shows, there’s even more to see and do representing excellent value for money and a fantastic day out!

The only hiccup tickets are :-

Adult £20.00
Senior (60+) £15.00
Student (wth valid NUS ID) £15.00
Child (15 years and under) – Free with adult

Hadn't anticipated going, but now reckon I will be.

This one sounds better for me, it's right on my door step, and I get in for £15.00. Mmmm can't see an Emoticon of an old man with a walking stick!!

Shame you're not here for the 19th were having a get together in Banbury to go over some bits and pieces for our October trek.

tom i fly in late sunday night and fly out early friday morning 1day in bristol 2 days in london so dont think i will be doing much else,,, :shock: ,,,but i will be back later in the year with the camper so dont worry i will catch up with you soon,,,,,

twende - I'll be at the “Active Travel Show” on Friday 20th and most of Saturday 19th before popping up the M40 for this meet in Banbury with the others on here about the proposed North East Morocco trip in October 2013. Brill, I'll be there on the Saturday so will give you a call in the morning. Strangely, I'll be running back from Brum on Friday, pity I would have enjoyed a pint with you all whilst chatting about your pending Morocco trip.

Actually.... I was thinking of borrowing my 110 from my friend that bought it from me and joining you all. If you're going "off piste" it would be too tight for the DAF. Better have a discussion with the missus

Back now. Sorry mate, but I took the decision to be there on the Thursday and Friday instead of Saturday based on the weather, er' indoors coming back from Dorset driving a new car we just bought in Christchurch, and the Moroccan Trip meeting in Banbury yesterday evening.

As it happens it was a cracking decision as we totally by-passed the weather and collected the car okay, got to the meet without drama and are now back home with the heating on full blast as it turns white outside ... again.

Will be going to the Adventure Travel Show at Olympia next weekend, plus the Indoor 4x4 Show at Donington next month, so hopefully can catch up at one of those events.

We have just about got an inch/half.

No probs Tom. Must say, it knackered me and the missus just watching the youngsters working out on the ropes, bikes etc etc. Our friends from Kent didn't make it either, the roads were a tad slippery down there.

Will probably make Donnington on 17th Feb. Do you know if it will be possible to overnight Friday/Saturday there?
