| Hello there! I’m Rui currently working in Saudi Arabia where I spend most of the year – last 15 years throughout the Middle East most spend in the desert doing what I like most – off-road Made a decision to set off in a 5 years expedition in May 2015 with my wife on a camper 4x4 – not yet decided which camper but we have 2 years to make the right decision. Came across this forum and immediately see I will get some tips on do’s and don’ts that would help me planning for the next chapter in my life. | |

| How very true. Not intending to sound like a blatant plug (oh why not, it's my forum ) you could do a lot worse than to pop over for the ADVENTURE OVERLAND SHOW weekend of 6-7 October 2012 at Whilton Mill. There you're going to met loads of people who have a lifetime of knowledge about adventure travel, overlanders who have picked the right vehicles (and wrong) in which to do their trips, not to mention have visited every continent. In a nutshell ... pick their brains! In the space of one weekend you will have nailed down exactly what to drive and to where, plus all the logistics that go with such an adventure. Gotta be worth considering? | |

Or you'll get so many conflicting ideas you will have one mother of a headache on the flight home. Problem is there are no right answers - just different ways, you've got to work out which is your way | |
