Hi Everyone,

My name is Steve, totally love travelling. I live in Warwickshire and drive a Defender 90 which is getting well kitted for travelling/camping however being a 90 is quite a challenge..

I am truly inspired by the people who just go on long adventures! sadly due to work the furthest I have taken my own vehicle is around Europe. However we have just returned this year from a 3 week trip from Zambia to Namibia in a rented Defender 110.

Really looking forward to the show in October, I plan on camping for the Saturday night even though it's 20 minutes from home!! Blue Defender 90 with a Maggiolina on the roof. I will be on my own so please come and say hello.

I also post occasionally on Defender2.

Regards,

Steve

Hi Steve and welcome as I am new on here as well but have an ambition to visit Morocco which I have had for around ten years.

I am the owner of a L/R Discovery TD5 which has not ventured far yet but would love to take it to Morocco or somewhere else exciting but unfortunately the wife is not really interested but she allows me to basically do what I want within reason (two weeks walking the C2C last year) and has no objection to me going to Morocco for two or three weeks.

I should also hopefully be at the show in October probably on my own so we could hopefully meet up for a chat.

Alan

There will be 2 others around the camp fire then, and I drive a dark blue D2 TD5, I will be the one with 4 labradors assuming it's ok to take dogs to the event!! clinking teacups

Welcome Steve! cheers

I think it'll definitely be a case of you finding us as it's going to well busy over the weekend, trying to find a blue Maggiolina will be step too far. Whereabouts in Warwickshire are you, I'm in Bedworth just below Nuneaton?

Booking in advance wil get you in a lot quicker, alternatively just turn up and 'pay on the day' - completely up to you.

Have you seen my post about the show in the Upcoming Events section? There are actually two threads (forum speak for topics), one about the show in general, the other about the members of this forum displaying their vehicles under the collective banner of "4x4 Overland Travel Forum" within the showgroun, it's this one I'm talking about.

I ask because you could join us in this display area ... 'ave a butchers.
