Gone but Not Forgotten Empty
PostSubject: Gone but Not Forgotten   Gone but Not Forgotten EmptySun Apr 01, 2012 9:31 pm

Long story short, The gent who bought My caravan also bought the Terracan.
I did not plan on selling the Truck but the money that was offered could not be refused.

The Best truck I have owned hands down. Stronger, more reliable and comfier to drive than the 2.8 Patrol and 2.4 70 Series I previously owned and better on fuel and off road than the 300tdi defender and td5 Discovery that I also previously owned.
The Best parts of the Terracan for me was the sound of the motor, ease to drive, driving position and its effortless towing ability. For my needs and driving speed it was wonderful.

Some of my fondest memories are of towing up Birdlip Hill on the A417 going to and from Gloucester. I used to lock the Auto-box in 3rd gear ( or "D" with overdrive off) @ 3,000 RMP holding @ 45mph. I loved flying past the Defenders and Disco's Towing their Own Caravans. Always put a smile on my face. Smile

The Last Picture of my Beloved truck, doing what She did best. Long Live the Terracan.

Gone but Not Forgotten Terrac21

Gone, but not Forgotten bawling Thanks Ruby....

Haha. Ill prob just leave it at Jas for now.

I will however but touring the UK and Europe still in the Jag toward the end of the summer. I have acquired a new job that pays more and I don't need to work weekends. Ill be going to mainly Caravan & Camping sites and B&B's, with friends and misses bla bla bla.

It does say "4x4 Overland Travel" but the way things are these days with cost and time, crossing County's is Overland for me!

S Type, Terra, Jagny, Jas....

Laughing could be, I love the jag but it does feels well odd being lower. I nearly cried the other day, the RWD did not like reversing out the drive with an overnight touch of frost. affraid
