Hi, I am Ray and the woman in charge is Karen.

We retired 2 years ago and have been travelling since having rented out our home.

We have a very modified, ex Foley, 300TDI 110 LR, kitted out with all the usual bits and a roof tent that is our home. We also have a 1200cc Yamaha Super Tenere dual purpose bike.

We are looking to tour the world slowly using either vehicle. So far we have visited almost every country in Europe from Nordcapp to Turkey.

Africa is next on the list but logistics (and North African unrest) are getting in the way a bit at present.

Hello to the Old Git and 'she who must be obeyed'. cheers

Like yourselves we look forward to your world trip, 'cause if you make this forum your home, we'll be able to plot your progress as you upgrade from the PROPOSED - Overland Trips & Expeditions section to CURRENT - Overland Trips & Expeditions. With the trip you have in mind, even the African leg will take a looooooooooooog time!
