| Nah, just that I've always loved the shape of the Range Rover Classic (perfect name - classic design an' all that) whereas I've never taken to the Discovery. Its interior may be more practical space-wise, but to me the RRC has flowing, aerodynamic lines ... for a 'brick on wheels' that is! Each to their own. | |

| That buggy boasted a 3.9 litre V8 with a supercharger, and that was long before Land Rover started producing supercharged engines such as the Range Rover Sport. It was an awesome beast, unstoppable in that 300ft of Shropshire mud. | |

| It sounded incredible too! Tuggy - That Stalwart that went swimming in the lake, it took a Dimond T wrecker and a Foden 6x6 wrecker to haul him out. Don't think the local anglers were too impressed when they lived up to their names and 'wrecked' their pontoon in the process! As for the air boat, that had a 3.5 V8 - that also sounded fantastic. Happy days indeed. | |

| I've no shots of that day either. Wouldn't happen now, with digital cameras so handy and cheap without the film and processing costs, we tend to take shots of everything. Great memory though. | |
