| I didn't know if anyone has swaped out there standard chair for an aftermarket model? Ive seen a fue brands on the net, from full on bucket seats to captain chairs. Deigned to be more comfy over rough terrain and even offer more safty from 3-5 point harness. Even found a fue that have extra lumber support settings for back related health problems. All not cheap of course, but its handy to know that if your 90's seats are naff then you can get some lounge chairs instead. Anyone done this? | |

| The favourite in Land Rovers used to be Volvo seats, heated in the winter too, don't know what the fad is these days.
That photo I would guess is the interior of a Yank Tank - am I right? | |

| That looks like a Delica interior to me - quite plush as standard.

| Took a while to track down the photo i posted, and it is listed as from delcia l400. Looks comfy and nice arm rests.
A friend of mine put some bucket seats in his Ford Explorer 4.0. Not to sure why, the original seats make it feel like driving a lounge, were as the bucket seats were IMO too supportive, comfy but with the 5 point harness it was quite restrictive.

| I don't get on with bucket seats or harnesses - far too restrictive for normal driving and don't even liek them when off road either. Am I strange becasue I find standard defender seats reasonably comfortable? | |

| The newer defender seats are not all that bad, I could drive quite a fair fue miles in those chairs. Im not to keen on the older ones tho. Another friend of mine had his Defender 110 seats reupholstered by Exmore Trim. Really nice looking seats, and reasonably comfy but they were far too expensive.
