New addition to family Empty

Well, my wife has gotten tired of Tembo getting all the attention and decided to trade her Audi for a 200Tdi 90. We will collect it later this week. Naturally the first thing is to get the top off...of the Land Rover

Nice motor, you could use the rest of your pink paint for her (it),  clinking teacups

Brave move, as much as I really like my 110 there are some journeys I'm glad to undertake in the wife's Citroen C4, 55 mpg quiet, comfortable and you can listen to music without making your ears bleed.

Are you going to keep a second non Land Rover vehicle ?

Nope...her Audi TT will be going to fund the 90. I have told her all this but she sees herself becoming less trendy and more Bohemian and thinks a Defender will suit that lifestyle a bit better. We spend a lot of time in Tembo driving around, so she knows what the limitations and inconveniences are. Also, her Audi get about 20mpg...so a 200 Tdi 90 will be a big improvement.

Time will tell if she keeps in over the log run...but I hope so.

Good on her, clearly getting the bug! As you say, it's not as though she's stepping into the dark. She has seen, heard and no doubt smelt Tembo's little foibles, so 'eyes wide open'. 20 mpg ... ouch.

One thing though - don't understand why you'd need a hound attached to the front bumper? We make do with a 50mm tow ball, maybe it's a Canadian thing? scratch
