| Hi All Having just bought a Terracan so I googled it and I came upon you guys. I've promised not to break this one or abuse it and it is meant to be transport from Nottingham to Central Portugal and back at regular intervals. Been off roading and currently have a Defender 110, Discovery 1, 2 x Freelanders and a L200. In the past I've had most things and work on the principal you can never have too many cars. I look forward to reading your posts and soaking up the knowledge. Cheers John
PS. Onepointfivespiders come from the time I owned one and a half Fiat 124 Spiders | |

| Welcome! Next year - late October to be more precise - I shall be running a 4x4 event incorporating the Iberian Peninsular. The idea is to take in a bit of France en route to Andorra, then most of the Spanish regions, before heading west to Portugal. Hopefully by then you would have sussed out a few tracks we could drive??? Well, here's hoping. One of the crews resides in Mansfield Woodhouse, is that anywhere near you? I ask because you say Nottingham, but for all we know MH could be on your doorstep. Worth a shot. | |

| Hi I live near Newark and Mansfield is near about 30 mins drive. My son lives at Sutton in Ashfield which is joining Mansfield so I go there frequently. The house in Portugal is in the central region and off roading will be good and plentiful. I'd like to buy a 2nd property there to have as a stand alone holiday home for renting/loaning to friends etc. I can only personally import 1 vehicle so that will probably be the Defender. Will take the Disco as well but take it off the road after 108 days then look for a rough Portuguese Disco and swap the bits over. Cars are relatively expensive over there. They have Tout Terrain events which are a cross between Trials and Comp Safaris | |

| Master of disguise me! Hi John, small world an' all that! Calling in for a cuppa could be awkward as I now live in Catalonia, Spain, so both Newark and Portugal are a little too far. | |
