Just a quick word of warning for anyone about to set off anywhere with there Hannibal roof tent. I went away last weekend for the first night away with my roof tent this year. As others in the group pitched their tents on the soggy ground I smugly opened out my roof tent, looked inside and discovered at least one mouse had moved in over winter. It had managed to chew up almost half of one side of the mattress including the cover and made several fist sized holes in the tent canvas. It then died in the middle of the tent and filled the tent with dead animal smell. I didn't feel smug any longer and had the worst nights sleep I have ever had in the tent.

Not good. Bad enough the damage, but croaking in there too. affraid affraid

I've had mice over the years in various locations crew their way though sleeping bags, old Captain Marvel type comics that were worth a good few bob, various items of clothing, etc. Just happened recently again in the garage. They are a pain in the arse, pure and simple.

Feeding them a special diet of rat poison now, enough is enough.
