Diesel Cooker

Hi,
I am in the process of kitting out my vehicle for the big trip and am trying to keep it all diesel so that there are not problems with having to purchase and store different fuels.  I am looking for a two burner (with grill would be nice) diesel powered stove but am struggling to find one.
Has anybody seen one and if so where?  I have seen the single burner British military ones coming up for sale but they are exceedingly expensive so I am hoping for something more affordable.

However, if you're looking for a built-in hobs, then there is the Webasto X100 diesel cooker - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AejatYmUAK4 - this is something I'd like to get for my camper. In fact I believe there is a “Dual-Top Heater/Water heater combined unit” available as well. Have to find out about this myself as it would solve two problems in one fell swoop!

I thought you would say that! I have been looking on and off for a while and spotted the Webasto cooker, but with a price tag of around £1000 it is out of my budget.

I'll keep looking but it may well end up I have to compromise and go for a petrol or kerosene cooker instead, I want to steer clear of gas as different bottles etc. will become too toublesome.

I can't help with diesel cookers but would throw out that I use a Coleman unleaded petrol 2 burner. I have used this on month-long trips several times, cooking two meals per day. At the start of each trip I fill a small, 5L jerry of fuel and have yet to ever use even half of the can over a month. I figured that since unleaded was available everywhere, it would be the easiest choice.

Yep I'd agree with Tembo the coleman dual fuel, dual burner is the way to go on longer trips Ive used mine daily over two month periods more than once never given a problem.
I used to use gas but on extended trips there are too many variables re gass fittings and carrying enough for two months maybe ok in a camper or caravan but in a 110 is a nightmare.
It may work if you use a supplementary source like wood but then unless your in the wilds that can be a nightmare especially in France open fires on campsites have to be a minimum of 300mm off the ground and if you set the place alight there's a hundred thousand euro fine for the camp owner if the pompiers have to attend. I carried my Bush pig around on a European tour two yeas ago never used it once strapped it to the roof rack and that's where it stayed.

I know a guy with an old ex army (tank corps) diesel stove and its a labour of love to get it going, keep it going and cleaning the pots and pans after is a nightmare, there may be better ones on the market but personally I'd leave well alone after see the aftermath of cooking on one.
