| Hi all, I'm Richard from Hampshire and have been into 4x4s for a while. I am fitting a folding bed into a Discovery and kitting it out for camping and travel for my wife, our large dog and myself. | |

| Will post some pics of the current installation which has been used for a 4 day trip and performed quite well! Few things need changing like access to rear brake lights! | |

Cut a chuck out of the bed each side for easy access to the lights. May have to do the same with your feet though! Here to help. | |

| Not that simple unfortunately. I built the bed with 3x3 wood I got free from work and the corners are where all the strength is. I'm planning Mk2 version with a fold flat front passenger seatand the bed folding out to the dashboard, drivers side will be to the back of the drivers seat. Gas hob to be mounted on rear door, full length roof rack for kit as dog gets to enjoy the bed while we drive!
